Grade level
Subject/Topic                   Wordle Strategy                                    What worked? What didn't? What would you do differently?
Kindergarten  Sight Words  Make a sight word Wordle poster and play "I Spy" game (to be continued...haven't made it yet)
Kindergarten  Color Words; Numbers (if possible); letters of the alphabet (if possible);  Students would get a chance to practice writing these things as we complete the Wordle for each.  Something we haven't tried yet, but hope to complete!
Kindergarten  Thanksgiving Words and Wordle  Created a blog to find out what children were thankful for...used those words to create a wordle.  all is well
First  Word Family Sorting  Make a Wordle poster with 2 or 3 different word families.  Have students sort the words into columns.  You can adjust this to more or less different families depending on student ability.  Students practice reading the words and sorting my family.  I had too many different families for some students.

I created a wordle of several word families. Students sorted the words.

hey there, can you add the details of what you did with your students to the above table. All you have to do is click "edit" and then scroll down, place curser in table, and then hit "save" when finished.

My students created a wordle to show their understanding of Veteran's Day. We listened to a parent that was an Army Veteran and she showed us her uniform also. The students did a great job of coming up with words to express their appreciation for our Veterans.
