Word Family Sorting |
Make a Wordle poster with 2 or 3 different word families. Have students sort the words into columns. |
You can adjust this to more or less different families depending on student ability. Students practice reading the words and sorting my family. I had too many different families for some students. |

hey there, can you add the details of what you did with your students to the above table. All you have to do is click "edit" and then scroll down, place curser in table, and then hit "save" when finished.

My students created a wordle to show their understanding of Veteran's Day. We listened to a parent that was an Army Veteran and she showed us her uniform also. The students did a great job of coming up with words to express their appreciation for our Veterans.
